I started this blog as a place where my father (Layne) and I can write about our experiences with beekeeping. Neither of us are professional beekeepers. My father is an entomologist and has kept bees for many years, since I was a young lad. I am a medical professional and keep bees because I want to. Why do I want to? If the answer were simple, there would be no reason to keep a blog. Beekeeping is rewarding on many levels, and perhaps over time, that will come through on this blog. Thanks for stopping by.
